Club FacilitiesThe Brand Pavilion is the University Pirates clubhouse. It is a modern licensed venue providing a great social base for the Pirates. The Brand Pavilion is an ideal venue for functions up to 100 people offering the following: - Licensed bar
- Airconditioning
- Function furniture
- Data projector, DVD player, sound system
- Playing field with floodlights adjacent
IMPORTANT Bookings are subject to University Pirates own needs Bookings are only accepted in writing using the venue booking form available on request Booking requests must be at least 7 days in advance Function guests must sign in as visitors The bar is no smoking, but it opens out to the oval Charles Darwin University parking by laws apply. The University Pirates RUFC take no responsibility for any traffic or parking penalties incurred by hirer or guests. The University Pirates RUFC does not allow the following events or activities: - 18th birthday parties
- Performances of a commercial nature involving door takings
- Strippers or any form of X rated show
- Politically alligned activities
- Events of a controversial nature to be determined by UPRUFC
The Brand Pavilion is named in honour of Dr Stephen Brand, a founding playing member, academic and all round champion who died tragically at a young age. |
